Sodexo honors its chefs and culinary excellence at the international finale of the Cook for Change! competition

This recognition - one of the most prestigious in the Chilean mining sector - highlights the exceptional safety performance of our teams, and recognizes their exemplarity in employee health and safety, as well as their strong achievements in some of the most complex operating environments.
Mining environments are demanding and fast-changing, requiring absolute discipline and a relentless focus on risk prevention. Over the 2024–2025 period, our teams in Chile recorded zero lost-time injuries, a key indicator of operational consistency and maturity.
This period marked four consecutive years - or 65 million of working hours - without a lost-time accident, a significant performance powered by thousands of our employees who operate every day with rigor and a strong sense of care for others.
These results reflect a safety strategy built meticulously and collaboratively, grounded in three fundamental pillars: prevention, operational discipline and a non-negotiable safety culture.
In practice, this means investing in training, reinforcing preventive observations, promoting safe behaviours, improving our management systems and keeping an open communication about risks.
