Partner of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games with a sustainable culinary selection that combines nutrition and enjoyment

In a country like France, whose culinary talent is world-renowned, Sodexo Live! plans to offer a selection of food tailored to the needs of high-level athletes, without compromising on taste. To achieve this, the menus will be developed in collaboration with specialized nutritionists and members of Paris 2024 Athletes’ Commission.

“For inventive gourmet cuisine, our chefs will collaborate with three chefs—Amandine Chaignot, Akrame Benallal, and Alexandre Mazzia—who represent the French culinary tradition. As part of this amazing opportunity, these three chefs will offer signature dishes,” says Franck Chanevas, Managing Director of Sodexo Live! France and Spain. It will be up to these exceptional chefs to reconcile the exacting demands of sports nutrition with the pleasure of the senses, in a collaboration that promises to delight the taste buds.
“With Sodexo Live!, we have opted for expertise in order to offer top-notch food services to the athletes,” says Tony Estanguet, three-time Olympic canoe champion and President of Paris 2024.
“For these athletes, what they find on their plate will reflect the experience of the Olympics. Eating well is vital for performance. Of course, it is also synonymous with enjoyment.”

Shared environmental and social values

Beyond the proposed food services, this partnership represents shared vision and social and environmental values. “Alongside the Sodexo Group, which is deeply committed to CSR, we share a commitment to responsibility in the Olympic Games,” emphasizes Tony Estanguet. Sodexo Live! will actively contribute to this commitment by optimizing its infrastructure and equipment and by establishing a sustainable food services model, from its food purchasing policy to food waste, including minimal use of plastic packaging.

At the same time, driven by a common interest in a social and solidarity-based economy, Sodexo Live! will focus on hiring employees with disabilities, from priority areas to account for at least 21% of its workforce. “Our commitment to social and environmental progress will empower us, alongside Paris 2024, to take up the challenge of hosting the Olympics with a positive impact,” Nathalie Bellon-Szabo boasts.
